Food Storage

While my mom was here for the baby shower she helped us out a ton! She made us like 30 meals to put in the freezer for when the baby is first born. Now I just have to have some self control and not eat them all before then!!! She also helped organize all of my cupboards and helped us set up our can rotator that has been sitting empty since we put it up over six months ago. Thanks mom for everything!!!

Baby Shower

Ryan’s family and my friend from the gym did a great job of throwing me the best baby shower ever!!! It was so much fun and everyone had a great time. Oh and the food was amazing! I am so grateful to have such great family and friends. Thank you everyone for all of your hard work and your great gifts!

Baby’s Room

Since the baby shower was at my house I had to have the majority of the baby room done by the time the shower started. We love how the room has turned out and are still impressed with how well our friend Nicole Henderson did on the painting!!! Thanks to everyone for all of your input and help!!!

Ice cream cookies

Sometimes I get a little over zealous about my crafts. The activity day girls have their Daddy-Daughter Valentine’s Day Dance on Thursday. And when I was thinking about what to make for dessert I found a picture of heart shaped ice cream cookies on the internet and of course I had to make them. I’m not sure if they are as cute as the picture I found, but hopefully the girls will like them.

Monkey Pirate Closet

We have been searching forever for the perfect doors for the baby’s closet. His closet is going to be the bottom of a built in desk, the part where the chair pushes in. So I have looked everywhere for the perfect fabric so that I could make him really cool doors. I finally found this fabric online and took a risk ordering. The fabric turned out perfect and the sewing job wasn’t too bad. However, it did remind me that I am a very beginner sewer!!!
